IceWave Patch Study Results Show Highly Significant Reduction in Pain

A new study on the IceWave pain reduction patches recently published in The International Journal of Medical Implants and Devices found that the patches had a highly significant effect in reducing intensity and perception of pain severity.

LifeWave is an international distributorship company in more than 90 countries that offers a full line of unique non-transdermal patch products.  LifeWave patches contain no supplements or stimulants, and affects acupuncture points without the need for needles.

The IceWave pilot investigation was used to test how the patches reduce quantitative and qualitative measures of neuromuscular pain.  The study involved a group of 30 volunteers: 14 females and 16 males aged 26-72 years old.  The participants had a variety of neuromuscular pain complaints: arthritic, lower back, neck, shoulder, sciatic, sports-related, car accident-related, scapular, and knee pain, with back pain being the most prevalent. Two different medical assessment tools were used to measure the level of pain reduction. The IceWave patches were applied to the volunteers, according LifeWave’s recommended protocol, on various acupuncture points on the body.  Each candidate’s pain was measured before using the patches and that served as the baseline for the study.  The subjects were instructed to keep well hydrated while wearing the patches.

Overall, each patient had a reduction in their pain level after applying the IceWave patches within 2-5 seconds and, on average, the pain readings would change 20-30 points within 2-5 minutes. There were a few cases where a substantive pain reduction took a little longer (15-20 minutes) due to the overall health of the individual.

The study results showed that there was a highly significant reduction in both the quantitative and qualitative pain levels following patch usage.  The study concluded that application of the IceWave patches had a highly significant effect in reducing intensity and perception of pain severity.

The study was conducted by Dr. Homer Nazeran and Dr. Emily Haltiwanger at the University of Texas at El Paso. In addition to being published in The International Journal of Medical Implants and Device, the study was also presented at the 2011 Southern Biomedical Engineering Conference.

First LifeWave Live Webcast Meeting a Success

On June 6, more than 350 LifeWave members and guests gathered at the Hilton Tel Aviv for the first LifeWave webcast meeting! The room was filled with the energy that is present at all big LifeWave events. Broadcasting live from the United States and visible to the crowd on a big screen, David Schmidt and Mike Collins presented to the enthusiastic audience. According to those in attendance, the meeting was a great success.

“The communication worked both ways, with David and Mike being able hear the audience and have a partial view of the hall via a web cam that we set up – that was evident when the crowd was clapping hands, several times, when exciting announcements were made,” said LifeWave leader Guy Shiloh. “Both the distributors and their guests enjoyed the video broadcast.”

Orna Gilad, another LifeWave leader from Israel, stated, “The event was beautiful. LifeWave is an international company and the video conferencing is a great solution for allowing members from around the world to connect.”

While the webcast technology will not replace our in-person meetings, it does give us an opportunity to hold LifeWave events more often. We are looking forward to using this broadcasting method to reach our members around the world in the future!

Suzanne Somers Launches LifeWave Media Tour

LifeWave ambassador Suzanne Somers hit the ground running with a United States national satellite media tour on July 7th to broadcast her passionate support for the U.S. President’s Cancer Panel’s (PCP) recent report that links chemical pollutants in our environment to cancer. In her interviews with the media, Suzanne spoke about the role LifeWave has played in helping her counter these chemicals through detoxification.

“I can’t say I was surprised by this report. I became acutely aware of the carcinogenic dangers of chemicals when I was researching my own cancer treatment ten years ago, and when I wrote KNOCKOUT: Doctors Who are Curing Cancer and How to Avoid Getting it in the First Place. This report gives me hope that this devastating problem will finally receive the global attention it deserves and steps will be taken to clean up our food, environment, and numerous toxins poisoning us on a daily basis,” said Somers. “One of the tools I use to detox is the LifeWave YAge Glutathione patch.
